Lerch Early land use attorney Peter Goldsmith was quoted in a Washington Business Journal article about national real estate developer Dominium’s new multifamily project in Prince George’s County. He served as land use counsel and played a significant role in securing necessary approvals for the project.
The Flats at Glenridge Station is a multimillion-dollar project that will transform a vacant 3-acre parcel in Hyattsville into a 245-unit affordable housing community adjacent to the Glenridge Purple Line Station. It is Prince George’s County’s first affordable housing community at a standalone Purple Line station that is not also a Metro station. As a result, it is the first piece in realizing the vision for the Glenridge Transit Village that was established by the master plan for the area more than a decade ago.
The project is expected to break ground as early as the third quarter of 2025 and will feature a five- to eight-story residential building with structured parking. As Dominium’s first development in the D.C. region, it highlights the opportunity for transit-oriented development in Prince George’s County, an area in which Lerch Early continues to provide strategic legal guidance.
The Flats at Glenridge Station will provide much-needed affordable housing, with units designated for households earning between 50% and 60% of the area median income. For more details on the project, check out the full article “Washington Business Journal – Flats at Glenridge Station.”
