Overview

As a certified e-discovery specialist, Jovianna Gonzalez oversees Lerch Early’s e-discovery for litigation clients. She brings more than 20 years of law firm experience to the role, as well as a strong background in data analysis, information management, and litigation support. Her focus lies in driving competitive advantage from technical expertise in order to consistently meet critical deadlines, reduce exposure to liabilities, and maintain high quality standards.

Jovianna has extensive experience with discovery issues, including coordination of preemptive management and compliance strategies, document retention policies, and streamlined electronic document review. She acts as client liaison with opposing counsel, the court, special discovery masters, and third party vendors on issues related to electronic discovery in complex litigation.

Jovianna has managed a wide range of projects, including preservation, forensic collection, data processing, document review, document production, and workflow analysis. She has overseen the workflow and activities of cases involving multiple terabytes of data and millions of multi-lingual documents.

Prior to joining Lerch Early, she served as an e-discovery specialist for a large regional law firm in Florida, where she drafted complaints, cross-complaints, discovery requests, responses, briefs, settlement demands, and memoranda. She also researched state and federal law for cases involving complex business litigation and land use.

Jovianna loves to travel. She has lived throughout the European Union, including Spain and Rome. She studied comparative government and politics in Germany and Bulgaria.In her spare time, she enjoys boating, cycling, jogging, and spending time with her young daughter.
